Dr. Tushar Nivrutti Nikaljie, born on 6 March 1964 in Pune, Maharashtra, is a researcher in the Indian election system known for his intellectual contributions to democratic studies. He has authored over 60 articles covering public administration, environmental awareness, and university administration, and has submitted research-based suggestions to various government authorities. His books on the Indian election system are included in the B.A. and M.A. syllabi of eight universities and three autonomous colleges in Maharashtra. He has also published four additional books, including the Braille edition Understanding the University and has participated in national and international conferences.
